Trip to Bahrain.
Bahrain is the first country I visit. Bahrain is just a series of massive bridges away from Saudi. My family stayed in hotels like the Sofitel and Kempinski Grand.
Bahrain is country where pork and other items are availble and women do not have to be fully covered.
Trip to Qatar.
Qatar is the second country I visit. Qatar is only 5 hours away from Saudi. My family stayed in a city called Doha where a beautiful skyline was being constructed. The religon there is Islam, but some laws in the country are not as strict. So Alcohol is legal and other items. My mother does not have to be completely covered.
Trip to Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka is a beautiful island located under the country of India with a rainy, warm and humid climate. My family and I along with some friends got to ride elephants, Stay in a big house in a fort from the 1600's and roam the local areas and experience unique foods and activities exclusive to Sri Lanka. Oh and of course, relax on the beach.
Trip to Thailand & Vietnam.
way toThailand is a very colorful country. My family and I had the chance to visit this country and experience the food, activities and much more. We went to Bangkok, Chang Mai and Phuket. I also had the chance to see Vietnam and their point of view on the past war. This trip was a great spend the Christmas holiday.
Trip to Norway.
At my expat school, we have oppertunites to travel around the world. These are called "out of kingdom trips". My freshman year, I had the privilege to travel to Norway. This cold and snowy land is beautiful and the people are very nice. I was able to drive a dog sled, camp in the winter, and have a good time with friends.
Mission to Nepal.
Nepal was a beautiful experience. My youth group and I hiked in the mountains to rural villages to help those in need. It was a humbling adventure and made me appreciate what I have. There was never a bad view... well except for the bathroom (a hole in ground).
Trip to Oman.
Oman-gosh! Oman is so pretty! This middle eastern country was a real tropical beauty. My family swam in the Arabian Gulf. We also swam into a cave with a waterfall called the Wadi Shab.
